Maha Ganapathy Chaturavriddhi Tharpanam
For any spiritual practice, the body of the practitioner (upasaka) has to be strong and conducive for rigorous routines and extensive periods of meditation. To ensure the body’s disposition is strong and balanced, a Sri Vidhya upasaka, especially one who follows the Samayachara marga, starts with strengthening his Muladhara Chakra (Root Chakra).
Sri Bala
Sri Bala Tripura Sundari is the child form of Maha Tripura Sundari, The Great Goddess. Upadesam of Sri Bala mantra happens after initiation into Maha Ganapathy Tharpanam and is the basic step in Sri Vidhya Thantra. To master the profound knowledge of Sri Vidhya, there are some efforts required
Sri Vidhya
Sri Vidhya is the most ancient science that imparts the Knowledge of the Self.
‘Sri’ refers to Maha Lakshmi and also means wealth and anything auspicious. Sri Vidhya imparts every iota of knowledge about the cosmos, and eventually takes the upasaka to the state of realizing that he is the cosmos and the Devi or the cosmos is in him. Once the upasaka is initiated into Sri Vidhya, he needs the Guru’s intervention in his life.
Khadgathi Pancha Dasa Mala
Khadgathi pancha dasa mala is a parayanam method reciting specific Khadgamala based on that day’s thithi.
Our Guru initiated the Khadgamala to a set of Athma Vidhya members. The members do the parayanam regularly. Khadgamala is one of the best ways to travel in the path of Sri Vidhya. It poses interesting challenges and the results are splendid.
